The Founder’s Story
Karlie Reitano’s dance journey began in Iowa, where she studied and taught dance for over a decade. Her training encompassed jazz, ballet, modern and hip hop, in addition to a competitive dance team. She continued to pursue dance throughout college at the University of Iowa and in New York City.
Her deep-seated passion for dance, love of teaching and years of experience led Karlie to create NC Dance Clinics—a place where kids can explore various dance and cheer styles with no long-term commitments, all while having fun in a welcoming and friendly environment.
Here, every child can shine.
Great teams are built on passion, dedication, and expertise. Together, we strive to inspire, lead, and create lasting impact in everything we do.
Meet Our Dedicated Coaches
Ashley has been passionate about dance and cheer since she was a little girl. She began dancing at age 3 and joined a competitive dance team by age 5. Inspired by her local high school dance and cheer teams, she eagerly participated in their clinics growing up. Ashley joined her junior high cheer team and continued throughout high school, cheering for school teams while dancing at a studio. In college, she combined her love for both cheer and dance as a member of the University of Texas at Austin’s Pom Squad.
